It’s the 20th anniversary of Sound Horizon’s Elysion which means it’s also FFXIV’s Lafrenze Laurant’s birthday. Lafrenze has always been my favorite SH character and it’s been so fun and emotional and rewarding giving her new life in FFXIV. Happy anni Elysion and happy bday Lafrench I love u so much

SH Lafrenze’s kana is ラフレンツェ but we don’t really have an official non-JP pronunciation… I’ve always called her Luhfrenz. With my XIV friends, this has devolved into many nicknames: Lafriend, Lafrench, French, The French, etc. Friends of Lafrenze are known as Lafriends.
