LabConstrictor is a framework for packaging Jupyter notebooks as installable desktop apps, making setup easier and the user experience more enjoyable 🥰 Shared as a GitHub repository template, it gives developers full control over their app, their documentation and over who can access it 🤗

For end users🧑‍🔬LabConstrictor provides an executable that sets up the Python environment automatically and creates a desktop app. The app opens a welcome notebook that checks the version, and guides users to notebooks. Extra widgets hide the code and run button, creating a more app-like experience🚀

This is super awesome. Very useful to make tools available to the wider community on the long term. I am about to release a tool myself and I will try to compile it with labconstrictor straight away.
