I have seen some resident Kashmiri Indians be asked to prove entitlement to the Indian rate at Indian tourist sites while NRIs
and South Asian non-Indians were presumed entitled to the Indian rate. Ladakhi and other Tibetic Indians wouldn’t get hit as often by it as say Chinese Indians from Bombay.
