It’s gotta be 30+ years since I last tasted Laphroaigh. I found it repulsive back in the day yet here I am today enjoying the Iodine and seaweed it so readily emanates. Funny how palates change. Cheers!

Hegseth said the other ships will be renamed the USS Johnny Walker, the USS Glenlivit and the USS Laphroaigh. In a surprise diversity move he also promised a future ship would be named after an Irish whiskey but sectarianism has made it impossible to decide between the the Jameson and the Bushmills

By coincidence I had a wee dram of Laphroaigh while watching Barcelona get routed by Chelsea this afternoon.
Dudes next to me were interested in some bourbon that apparently costs 90 dollars a shot? Absolutely amazing to think stuff like this goes on, but god bless.
