All set for my traditional #LatimerXmas early morning Xmas Eve shop, for the #LatimersAssemble gathering over the next 2 days.
(I’m mixing up my hashtags I know).
Keep tuned for updates and what’s missing from the shelves.

My start to the year is sitting on a sofa with a snuffly sleepy grandson, whilst his parents try and catch up with a broken night’s sleep.
Quite relaxing as I have a coffee to hand and my phone.
It’s been a #LatimerXmas with added flu (I’ve been jabbed so hopefully immune).

Cooking my third ham of the season.
They’ve been very popular this year, a whole one was gobbled up by the 15 on Sunday.

Xmas ham ready to be put in the oven (this was the 1st ham cooked 2 days before Xmas), with the marinade/glaze of cheap cola, mustard, honey, maple syrup and brown sugar all added a bit randomly. The first Xmas ham fully cooked. Look how yummy it looks! It’s nicely browned/oranged on top, and the liquid all around is brown and sticky. In the past I’ve served this liquid as a dip for the ham, but didn’t this year. [interesting (or not) extra info you can add with alt text]
