Of course seeing some "they are shit anyway" discourse around the line up for the Saudi Laughwashing festival never the best route to take in any discussion.
All this talk of cultural boycotts (something I largely support) does bring me back to the fact that many keenest most vocal proponents in music etc have never boycotted the US, the source of much of the instability, division and violence in the world.

yeah it’s similar to the dissemination of incel memes (wojacks etc) into wider “meme” culture - what was once extremely niche with explicit coding and messaging (ie the aryan looking chad) is now a format
