A design overhaul commission for Dae on VGen! #LavArts #VGenComm #CharacterDesign
A redesign of a character based on a haradashi, a type of Japanese yokai with a face on its belly. The character in question has pale skin, pink hair, red horns and eyes, and is fat. She has an irezumi-style tattoo of a dragonlike face on her stomach, with flames extending onto her upper arms and thighs. She wears a pink outfit somewhat reminiscent of a kimono with an obi made of shimenawa rope, with the torso bare to reveal a grinning, sharp-toothed mouth on her stomach. One hand is covered in blood, and she holds a large cleaver. The original design is very similar but simpler.

Falin Touden in the style of Alphonse Mucha, for a friend #LavArts #DungeonMeshi #Dunmeshi #DeliciousInDungeon #ダンジョン飯

(CW for nonsexual nudity!)
An illustration of Falin Touden from Dungeon Meshi in a style reminiscent of that of Alphonse Mucha, the father of the Art Nouveau movement. Falin is a plump white woman with shoulder-length blonde hair; she is posed like a statue, holding her staff, her cap, and a strip of cloth that covers one breast and her crotch, but she is otherwise nude. She is smiling peacefully, observing the plant and animal life around her, which winds up the sides of the canvas and curls around behind her. The style is characterized by bold outer lines with softer linework inside the shapes of the figures, soft shadows, and intricate shapes.
