Other actors always seem to get more mention, but for me, Paul LeMat is the heart and soul of American Graffiti. Melner’s supposed to be sort of a tough guy, but he conveys his decent, protective, kind innocence beautifully, without taking the edge off of him.

The water balloon in American Graffiti was supposed to hit Paul LeMat. It missed and nailed Mackenzie Phillips instead. LeMat's laugh and Phillips' reaction is 100% genuine. George Lucas left it in the film...to great effect.

Paul LeMat is interesting since he's a leading man in a lot of stuff but he's also got such an odd and quirky look.

The US reenactment scene is pretty cringe and LARPy too. Especially around the Civil War.
I met a reenactor at Mill Springs who'd only learned about the battle a week before but had an extremely detailed spiel about why his guy would have a LeMat revolver.
Maybe cos their muskets sucked.

I met a reenactor at Mill Springs who'd only learned about the battle a week before but had an extremely detailed spiel about why his guy would have a LeMat revolver.
Maybe cos their muskets sucked.

[so I take the OG]
- Either a Lemat mk2 or a Pax Longshot pistol.
If the Lemeat, I take FMJ for pen.

Now that Dawntrail's story is officially done I can say that its my least favorite story, even worse a realm reborn. Honestly I think its because Wuk Lemat was so badly written it ruined 80% of the expansion for me. Their constant 'friendship is magic' attitude solving everything was SO annoying.

alternatively you can also go for a lemat type revolver instead of a six shooter, letting you load that middle barrel with a shotgun blast TF cartridge for mass TFs, also getting 3 extra ones to pick from in the cylinder
