Trump isn't importing beef as you know it. The term is pink slime in the derogatory, and Lean Finely Textured Beef in the euphemism. It's highly processed and susceptible to salmonella. It caused an outroar in 2012 with many grocery chains using it.

Yesterday, Trump did two executive orders with the accompanying fact sheets on supporting American cattle ranchers. He had to do something after telling us he was importing 300,000 tons of lean beef trimmings, also known as pink slime.
