According to Sheridan after his death, Castellano was dropped because he refused to regain the weight to play Clemenza due to health reasons. Both of these claims are corroborated & refuted by others involved in the production at the time. #TheGodfather #RichardCastellano #LeaveTheGunTakeTheCanoli
