Here we have how love shapes an individual
Then, in the conditional 2nd stanza, the unknown. An interruption - how would we be if this love was lost?

What an accolade! A few months ago poet Lemn Sissay presented my book 'Made in Manchester' to a deserving delegate at a conference on the regeneration of Manchester and Salford. Lemn features in the book.

i’ve worked with the poet lemn sissay a lot and one of our radio series - lemn sissay’s origin stories - started from the idea of how much kids in the care system relate to superheroes. lemn also did an installation on this theme at london’s foundling museum:
