I feel like I waited for so long for #lessonsinmagicanddisaster and it's lived up to everything I hoped. It's surprising and challenging and beautiful and deeply, beautifully queer, and I love it and I think it's @charliejane.bsky.social 'S best book yet.

I'm half way through #LessonsinMagicandDisaster by @charliejane.bsky.social , and I did not expect this book to hit so squarely on so many of my interests. Having that thing where I almost can't keep reading because I know tribulations are coming for the characters and I care about them too much

In the air, flying to San Francisco seemed like a good time to read ‘Lessons in Magic and Disaster’ by Charlie Jane Anders. About a third of the way through and Jamie is expressing so many things I feel are capital T True. Wanting for yourself is so important.

Almost done with #LessonsInMagicAndDisaster by @charliejane.bsky.social. By volume, the book is mostly good people doing good things. The hard parts, though, are so shockingly familiar and real that they land hard.
