Blushing Dapperling, Leucoagaricus badhamii.

Seen at the allotment today, beneath a conifer hedge. I saw it in the same place in November 2023.

Bruises orange-red on handling. The bruised areas eventually turn almost black.

Good to see it again.

Leucoagaricus meleagris.

Late July 2024, on a big pile of woodchip, Buxton Heath, Norfolk.

Stipe (and cap) bruised orange when handled. Pleasant spicy / chocolate smell.

i.d. from DNA analysis - originally misidentified as Leucoagaricus americanus. Both are rare in Norfolk.

Leucoagaricus leucothites/white dapperling. This grows in the yard of the house my apartment is in (it sounds weird to say “my” yard when I rent). The second photo the mushroom was growing that way. Made for a nice gill shot. #fungifriends #fungi #mycology #naturephotography

Here they are @fungiwithbengi.bsky.social
I think they look Agaricaceae
My original ID was Leucoagaricus americanus but I think that was incorrect. He thinks inocybe. But these things are huge.
