Day 2 of Guitar Summit. Hapas Guitars brought out some stunningly brutal instruments. Definitely need to pick up the Lichtlaerm Audio Thorn pedal at some point. The Flying V from Mozer guitars was perfectly balanced and sounded killer. #guitarssummit #guitars #guitarstagram #guitarist #guitar

Sometimes certain effects don’t work well with distortions or preamps. I’d always been told to use modulation or time based effects in the effects loop, but I don’t use those pedals. The only effects loop I use is on the Lichtlaerm Medusa.

Hey I figured out how to use the effects loop on this pedal, so now I have a Hail Satan Deluxe running through that and blended with the Medusa. The noise gate helps both sounds not get too out of hand.

I finally built a dirt section I REALLY love.
The Lichtlaerm Audio Aquaria sounds lovely and has an insanely versatile EQ, didn't even touch the boost with still more EQ so far.
Shoving the JAM Pedals Red Muck Fuzz or the Doubledreamer Overdrives into it? Divine. Love.

So, the Lichtlaerm Audio ‘Medusa’ pedal has an fx return and I think that’s really fucking interesting because there is a blend control, but there is also the Key and Gate noise gate circuit integrated, so whatever goes through the fx return will also benefit from a great noise gate.

lichtlaerm audio getting into guitar manufacturing is only the second funniest thing about them getting into guitar manufacturing, the funniest thing is their rep going "medium frets, so you have to learn to play guitar" (ed. note: medium typically means 'vintage' size i.e. 2mm wide 1mm tall, small)

Long story short, the Lichtlaerm King in Yellow is awesome, and Bloodbath rules.

I still haven’t figured out how to make the four cable method work with this one, so the Medusa stays on the board. I’d like to use this one when the Faith Healer/Face Peeler pedal is done. Any help would be appreciated.

You can use some in the loop or plug straight in like a standard pedal. This is the one I have, but it’s also integrated in the circuit of the Medusa lichtlaermaudio.com/shop/thekeya...

The HM2W is an excellent HM2. It’s more versatile than the Eyemaster, but if you’re looking for a gnarly chainsaw on a budget, the Eyemaster is the shit. Thomas from Monolord is also a fan www.instagram.com/reel/DTJawI6...
