Human relented and gave me my bedtime snack a bit early. But I have to eat it slowly off my lickimat. And human has to supervise so Gus doesn’t steal any (he still has dinner left in his feeder 😾)

We just left Stella alone in the house for 3 minutes for the first time and when we got back she was still licking her lickimat and not bothered. Yay!

This thing is called a lickimat and it’s our latest try at dealing with Pips car anxiety. You spread the textured surface with something, in this case peanut butter and blue cheese it suctions onto the window and apparently he’ll lick it instead of whining. We’ll see. But seriously, lickimat? 🤢

Well, that went down well. Part of our ‘calm dog’ training. Newly arrived lickimat. Wasn’t sure how she’d take to it. But she’s cleared it with no problems. That’s a win.👍

Stella cried the whole time while I was out with Rosie at the vet. She wouldn’t even take a lickimat with peanut butter she was so upset that Rosie had been taken out. Same thing happened when I took Luna in Feb.

Hmm just gave Maple (the food driven one) a lickimat that had frozen red kiwifruit on it, and she didn't finish it and was licking her chops weirdly, and has now curled up on her bed while Sadie finishes the lickimat. I have a suspicion Maple got stung round her mouth/snout yesterday, so maybe the

De linker likmat heeft vandaag ruim een uur plezier gegeven. De rechter likmat (voor morgen) is zojuist in de vriezer gezet. Gezonder voor Joey: beetje yoghurt met water, stukjes appel en meloen en (vetarme) brokjes.
