So this is stirring up all sorts of crazy on Twitter. It’s odd to see the US beef the same colour as pork, but that’s fat content. EU Beef is grass fed thru their lifecycles, has higher animal welfare standards*, is not bulked up with grain, growth hormones are illegal in the EU, so too is GMO feed.

Back in the pre-LLM era, I used the term “harness” for the program that spawned and marshaled my swarms of bots, and managed their lifecycles, replacing them if they became flaky.

That is just standard execution velocity, not a death. The velocity of attention has compressed lifecycles from weeks to minutes.

After a bit of discussion of LLM lifecycles Opus described itself for a non-technical audience.
It also helps with household formation / changing needs over lifecycles. If you're playing host to your 20-something kids you're still needing the big house. If your kids can afford a cheap apartment in the city, you're more likely to downsize yourself as you get older.

Somewhat related but the thing that stumped more was lifecycles. This is for GUI plugin system and I chose to go with singleton instances but then, how do you express dynamic reverse dependencies? How do you do it with lazy plugin bootup?
