it's so cool how LifeLabs is suddenly, out of nowhere, denying me information through the portal because of my name change.

they weren't doing this shit before. i had zero issues before, and now i suddenly am having issues. what the absolute fuckery is this bullshit.

How are we not the 51st state?

Yep. Especially healthcare. I just came back from bloodwork, and in a tiny crowded LifeLabs office(>30 crammed in) I was the only one who put on an N95 before entering that area. People are either dumb, or choose to ignore the season of rising respiratory infections.

Oh hey finally hear this happen to other people, I've think I've had like 4-5 diff medical attendants at lifelabs(and a couple nurses at hospitals) tell me I have nice veins.

The NDP were silent when LifeLabs was sold to an American for profit corporation.

Will you support empowering Canadians to decide how much for profit delivery we have in Canada, if any?

We need a citizens assembly on healthcare core structural issues that burns hands on care funds

For real though, if LifeLabs only calls from "Private Number" and doesn't accept inbound calls, why are they giving me shit for not picking up in the middle of the work day?

You don't pick up either, and I had no way of knowing it was you!

The Oshawa LifeLabs crew is dynamite. Controlled chaos. The ladies have this shit locked down.

LifeLabs was Canadian owned and ran during the hack.

What has NDP done to keep out U.S. corporations from invading our health care? LifeLabs was sold to one in 2024, and in 2025 the BC Greens called on the NDP to merge LifeLabs into the provincial health care system. Did it do that?

I will forever have a mask with me in case I stumble into a situation where people are sick / coughing.
(Hello, cramped Lifelabs waiting areas)
Any hint of sickness? We are rescheduling. Guilt-free.

Dynacare: a window into U.S. corporate health care
B.C.Manitoba, and Ont., outsource routine outpatient lab testing, specimen collection, and analysis to for-profit corporations, including Dynacare and LifeLabs. Both are owned by highly profitable, publicly traded U.S. health care corporations.
Americans don't get to decide what labohr standards Canadians are entitled to.

The private lab—owned by a U.S. corporation—oversaw a relative drop in workers’ wages. When workers went on strike, Manitoba's government stepped in on the side of the company. @alonghurst.bsky.social #canlab #mbpoli

If you’re in Ontario, DynaLife lets you upload requisitions online and LifeLabs lets you email them in! Been excellent for my own ADHD to have those options

From ⤵️
My latest analysis:

350 private lab workers make less than their hospital co-workers for the same work. Their strike was broken

The Manitoba government should stand up to U.S. corporate greed—and stand up for our health care sovereignty

Today, I visited LifeLabs’ Burnaby Reference Laboratory with my fellow MLA Anne Kang to see that work firsthand and learn more about the services people across B.C. rely on every day. 🧪 Thank you to Gene, Garth, Jag, and Bryan for leading the tour, and sharing their insights into the work.

The fuck you mean I need to see your doctor to get the fucking swab for a test that lifelabs said you'd give me. Why is the health care system in Canada somehow dumber than the US? I never had this many issues just getting my bloodwork done lol

Lifelabs is absolutely everywhere in Ontario.

I still remember their data breach.

LifeLabs was bought by an American for profit company for a reason.

BC NDP negotated a long term contract before the sale (Adrian Dix / 3 Eby) now BC main labs is USA owned, Zero Prov opposition (talk big on elbows up zero action on HC sovereignty - patient data?)

My doctor wants me doing a 24 hour blood pressure monitoring test through LifeLabs. First of all, the test is not covered by OHIP and costs almost $90. Second of all, you cannot bathe/shower or take off the monitor for the entire 24 hour period. Excuse me? I don’t think so.

Lifelabs is not a Canadian company. It is America . I am finding another laboratory to go to; keeping my money 💰 in Canada 🇨🇦 for 🍁

This conservative prick has been quietly selling our healthcare to american companies. The sale of Lifelabs to americans should never have been allowed.
