We had to submit our rough drafts for our storyboarding assignment. I was nervous but I got good critique and I’m in a good spot to get it done.

An old OC of mine has been on my mind. His name is Fang and he punches shit hard.

Got this done super early so I don’t forget. I have queer cinema today where we’re watching “The Children’s Hour” from 1961. Should be interesting.

Decided to draw Stella from Helluva Boss today… she’s been on the mind -/////-

Did some homework today and spent a few hours with friends finishing the part of their campaign we were on.

It was like a 9 month derailment all cuz my character dared another to go into a portal and they got stuck lol.

Sketch of an alien character with triangular eyes and a hat that reads “Frundus Foods”, looking shocked or aghast. Arrows point up at him with text: “Caused an entire derailment from the main story.”

First day of autumn! I just had storyboarding class and skipped audio cuz it was a lab day. Ending off the day watching Iron Man 1+2 and *maybe* the Hulk.

Week 4 of classes is already here… kinda scary how fast it’s going lol.

Went on a long walk around campus today and thought about some OC stuff. Here’s my character Erebos “disguising” itself in a hoodie.

Sketch of a long-necked furry creature in a hoodie. Its three-pointed ears poke out from the top of the hood through holes, and it’s closed two of its four eyes to appear more normal.

Had a really nice weekend with family. We went out to eat a few times, went bowling and hit the slots a bit. It was really nice!

Drew Shane losing at a roulette wheel I guess and a fish cuz of some Minecraft server shenanigans.

Sketch of Shane in front of a roulette wheel. The spinner has landed on a section that says “L” while the rest are dollar signs. Shane says “Aw, dang it.” My attempt to draw a herring… it’s bad.

My family is visiting this weekend. We went out to dinner, then my brother and I went to see Resident Evil, which was amazing!

The movie made me wanna hop back into my own OC zombie AU, so here’s my OC Kaede encountering a zombie.

Honestly a pretty uneventful day today. Not much to report.

Felt bad for drawing Ice getting his shit kicked in, so today I drew him with his favorite drink and having a nice time -w-

Today was chill. Watched Bride of Frankenstein (1935) in Queer Cinema. It’s neat looking at films through a queer lens. Ended the day watching more X-men.

Ran short on time to draw so I just drew my OC Ice getting fucked up.

Watched part of Death Note with some friends yesterday. Forgot how amazing it was! Oh also it was 9/11…

Today I went to a football game and got told I couldn’t bring a sketch pad in unless I had a medical/mental health reason for it???

Got my next storyboarding assignment and also started discussing ideas for a film in advanced cinematography.

Between classes I was writing a story where a character gets spliced across space and time. Here’s a visual of that.

Last day of the Labor Day weekend was nice. Lotta Minecraft, then ended the day watching “The Wolverine”.

While watching the movie, we chatted a bit about culture in world building, so I made a hand gesture for a culture in my world.

This is technically based on the campaign session that happened on Saturday, BUT that did bleed into Sunday so it counts.

My character ended up dying by getting yeeted into an NPC. It’s ok though, he got revived.
