Was already absolutely having this, but wow, it's lovverly. Wasn't counting on it having the full Lightformer weapons pack! Might've liked Carnivac to try for more of a bot/shell fusion look like other redone Pretenders, but one can't have everything!

The Lightformer gimmick is really fun. You line up your target in the sight, push the button, then strafe your target with lasers! Since there are two beams I imagine the tracer blasts coming out of the ports on his bumper rather than his big central cannon

AotP Fisitron

Ironfist that is available at main retail again after 31 years! I am still undecided on whether I prefer this solver or the original tan. Fisitron is a retool of a retool of Hound. His new components are his new head and the three parts of his Lightformer Cannon.

Lighting up the dark is the Lightformer Deftwing.

(TFwiki page in the background is the Gold Plastic Syndrome page, ominous foreshadowing? Nah, his gold plastic is still fine..
For now)

I know it's an odd choice, but G1's representative is 1993's Europe-only Lightformer DEFTWING. But I think it's a fine example of TF's subteam gimmicks, the franchise's longevity even before the nostalgia boom, global reach, and its ever-evolving aesthetic. (2/)

Transformers Ironfist! He’s just peachy! Really solid bot and the Lightformer targeting gimmick is lots of fun. I always imagined the weaponry expert in a similar vein to Rhinox, a gentle giant yet terrifying once roused to action. Later adaptations miss his tummy guns which a shame as they’re cool!

Transformers Age of the Primes Wreck n' Doom Collection Deluxe Class Fisitron (Iron Fist)

Based off of his appearance in Last Stand of the Wreckers and also combines the vehicle mode of his original G1/G2 Lightformer toy

This is a Transformer that very few, if any, Americans would've seen in person at least at the time of release in 1993. As he was part of the European (and therefore Australia for some reason) exclusive toyline.

Not watched it yet and genuinely am a little scared to.
I had the original lightformer(?) as a kid and it's one of the toys that springs to mind often, so I already want it, this'll just make that want much stronger.

A feature I've never seen on any other Transformer is this light piped headlights.

And a feature I've seen on too many Transformers, a backpack that is too heavy to pose with.

recognition of unstructured targets in complex scenes. On the ISPRS Vaihingen benchmark, LightFormer attains 99.9% of GLFFNet's mIoU (83.9% vs. 84.0%) while requiring only 14.7% of its FLOPs and 15.9% of its parameters, thus achieving an excellent [5/7 of https://arxiv.org/abs/2504.10834v1]

Because he's G1 (sorta) he can't pose for shit. He can put his hands on his hips, kinda. Can raise his arm, and can't stand bow legged.

I did find him a gun that fits into his tiny hand, and it was kinda blast effect compatible

He can look up, sorta kinda, into the sky where he longs to be

And he's apparently worth $1000AUD if still in the box (which mine is not, obv.)

It's weird... I like this guy but he has several flaws. He's rickety, with thin plastic, and his right leg falls apart on mine so easily. But most egregiously he doesn't have any light piping.

I get they're more referencing his appearances in the comics, but c'mon, he was a Lightformer! Criminal.
