I just set up an account with 'proton drive'. I was going to use livedrive, but although claiming to be British, they are owned by a US company... I am leaving carbonite because I am sick of being reliant on US tech companies. I've already ditched office and Liquidweb :D. Europe needs software!

So, if you're in the business of the internet, I heartily recommend -never- using LiquidWeb. The quality of their service is no better than anywhere else, and support, their killer feature, is far worse.

For that type of general-purpose hosting I don't have a new 'must-use', but it's not them.
