It is gone a few miles up the road from Dungeness to the Littlestone garden as well now!

CONCOLOROUS

The ninth wider Dungeness recording area record - gorgeous

Then disturbed a Bordered Straw in the front garden late afternoon - which is the first of the year

First brood Small Copper numbers are rising at #dungeness and Littlestone ,60 + Dungeness and 10+ Littlestone ,reasonable numbers in fairly breezy conditions .Also 1 Grizzled Skipper of note.

Popped in at the Shepherd’s Needle (Scandix pecten-veneris) population at Littlestone en route back to office

Dug out a block of the Sweet Violet which is spreading very quickly

Would have liked to have done this a couple of months back

Best night this year for moths but not the dizzy heights of some inland wooded sites

A total of 15 moths of 8 species - a good mix for coastal suburbia
