Liveclear is a Purina brand cat food that blocks the allergens cats shed and helps the humans who love them. Maybe that could be tried?

You may be surprised at how many people who volunteer with cat rescues are actually allergic, myself included. I've built up a tolerance over time, but if the make-up of the cats in my house changes, addition or subtraction, a flare-up can occur.

Believe it or not, the Purina dry food ProPlan LiveClear is meant to reduce allergens in cats and it actually is beneficial. (Said as a fellow allergy sufferer with 2 cats)

#Science magic PSA: if you or a loved one is allergic to cats, there are now foods that neutralize the major cat allergen in their saliva using antibodies derived from eggs (ex. Purina LiveClear) I am allergic to my beloved #cat Bellini and switching to this food cut my allergies down 70%

Looks like it's not egg proteins but that chickens can be exposed to cat dander in a way that causes them to express proteins in their eggs that have this effect. I've heard some promising reports of the Purina LiveClear food which uses this technique, can't speak for DIY.

Liveclear cat food actually works. Our oldest's gf is super allergic and can now stay with us and our 5 fluffalufs without symptoms.

Yes! Purina LiveClear has made a significant difference to my two atopic kids who love full face snuggles with the cat. When we introduced a new kitten who hadn’t been on the diet we realised just how allergic they both are and are waiting for the results to kick in now she’s on the same food x

I was in PetSmart today and looked at the LiveClear ingredients. We can’t start it. Way too many carbs.
Since Goddess is diabetic she should keep meals at under 10 carbs and more like under 5 carbs. LiveClear averages between 24-30%. That’s a lot.

You could try an anti-allergenic cat food (additive?) like "Pacagen" or food like "Purina Pro Plan LIVECLEAR." I don't know if they actually work, but if there's a chance...

When we got our cat I started with taking a daily antihistamine and we give her purina pro liveclear food, it helps with the enzyme in the fur that causes the allergic reaction. I’m off any medication now and am no longer allergic to her! (Still am to other cats)

It’s not done yet! But the strategy is: specific immunotherapy (aka vaccines), levoceterizine, Purina LiveClear, HEPA air filters, allergen-barrier covers, automated litter, female spayed cat, and lots of cleaning.

Apparently when chickens are exposed to cat allergens, their eggs contain antibodies to it. When these eggs are fed back to cats, their cats stop producing those allergens with some reliability! 🤯

I feed my cats Purina pro plan liveclear and it's helped my allergies a lot. I've also had people over with cat allergies, and they were surprised they weren't having a reaction.
