Pending verification, but that's a fifth-place finish if the math holds up. Not bad for my second completed run on this route.

After over 2500 attempts of The Lost City I have achieved that magical sub 50 I was aiming for, I am so proud of this record <3 - Will be posting it on YouTube soon-ish~!

Okay maybe not, turned out my dry run + errands took longer than I thought.
On the other hand though, I guess I can say I've beaten EBF5 in under 3 hours now? Thought I'd save more time, but tbf I was rusty + had a very awful gigalith/devourer fight.

Looking for something decently comparable to LiveSplit that works on Linux, has global hotkeys, and isn't made using generative AI. ><

Had a lot of fun playing through Half-Life again last night.
It wasn't actually a speedrun, much, I just needed an excuse :)
Need to fix my LiveSplit and OBS scenes. Until then, less streams (or crude layouts)!

Beaten my PB on Anne once again, this time added LiveSplit timer for comparison.
47:37 On Live Split.
In Game Timer: 2 seconds faster than section before the forest segment was added!
---
If i wouldnt love the game then i wouldnt speedrun it,to be fair.

Haven't been speedrunning lately. Very busy!
LiveSplit has issues...
- Scaling artifacts, fonts look awful!
- Not saving text settings
- Load remove/autosplit broken*
*Sleeping Dogs DOES work, but on LibreSplit :)
This'll take a while.. Only RTA / Sleeping Dogs speedruns for now.

Apparently molok is the one to look at, but this forum post on Speedrun.com offers about ten alternatives.

It's an optional toggle mods can turn on. If turned on, runs will automatically go to the mod queue once someone gets a PB in LiveSplit. So a mod will still look at it. From there they can approve, ask for a VOD, decline, etc.
It can also be turned off, to enforce manual submissions by runners

Ever try to stream speedruns again after a significant hiatus and get hit with the Internet/Livesplit/Capture Card not working properly wombo combo? Really makes me feel like the universe is telling me to never show my face again.
