i have actually replaced my windows start menu (and the windows key) with my own startscreen that runs all my apps and services i use.
and more and more i can directly show ambient live data. proper livetiles :)

really enjoying having simple livetiles back ngl. even though atm they're only for very few content.. such a good ambient way to get notified on stuff without the whole "YOU HAVE TO LOOK NOW" thingy.

Instead of all the little color and shade gimmicks @apple keeps adding to iOS, they should negotiate with @microsoft to make apps into LiveTiles that can be viewed at a glance, and make life easier.
