#Livelihoods
He didn't declare war on the party, he declared total war on the half the country, destroyed thousands of livelihoods at home, and killed millions abroad.

No mercy.

Nope. Consequences. There’s too many dead and hurt people. Too much gerrymandering. A massive theft of money and livelihoods. We need to settle the score.

When I hear someone say they don’t plan to vote, it seriously makes me question what kind of person they are.

Black folks were forced to pay poll taxes, pass literacy tests, livelihoods and lives just to exercise their right to vote. Eat or vote because you can’t do both. And they still showed up.

Farmers really don't like it when you fuck with their livelihoods.

Also, im enjoying the fuck out of tonight. The worst people in the world who bet their whole livelihoods on getting people to agree to hate me and everyone I love are eating shit, and thats delicious

Their livelihoods depend on being that dense.

again, the law also criminalizes possession and viewing, which would render *hundreds of thousands*, possibly millions of people into sex offenders

in addition, it would ruin the livelihoods of many sex workers, who would find themselves criminals overnight

Affordability just revived democracy. But to safeguard it, Democrats have to change the playbook, not just the slogans. The economy needs to be rebuilt from the essentials up — to restore public power, put a floor under livelihoods, and a ceiling on private wealth.

Today is Election Day and our democracy, lives, and livelihoods are on the line.

In Massachusetts, polls are open until 8pm. Make a plan and bring a friend.

This is both extremely funny and also highly significant: US democracy is finally uncoupling from the economics of donations.

Think of the sacrifice of lives and livelihoods it took to get us here. The techno-grifters' money is no longer any good here

You're 100% right about 2016, I saw Spencer reply to some Trump guy basically saying to eat shit and I thought "They're risking their livelihoods and still speaking out, the fuck is my excuse?

As the 🌎 heads for warming above 1.5°C, climate adaptation is too slow.

Even if public adaptation finance tripled by 2035, it would only cover 20-29% of developing countries' needs.

More funding is needed to protect lives & livelihoods as impacts grow.

I hope someday artists' livelihoods and income don't have to be contingent upon how much attention they can get online.

also this is what I was trying (badly) to articulate about not thinking of this as "bravery," I legit don't think it ever crossed my mind that we WERE risking our livelihoods

The American public’s calls for accountability are clearer than ever.

For decades, Big Oil has aggressively lobbied our elected officials to block the clean energy transition and frame climate policy as a threat to affordable energy, economic prosperity, and people’s livelihoods.

An I’ll tell you what, the VERY LAST THING the UK government should want is a load of immigrant brits having to return to the UK, with their lives wrecked, livelihoods gone, families split, needing housing, healthcare, benefits, and social care.

We cannot ever replace the lives and livelihoods lost, but I hope this puts to bed forever any thought that they are anything other than our neighbors and fellow citizens.

The Israeli army withdrew from al-Khalil Governorate after a 10-day siege, ending the operation without a public statement. The troops left widespread destruction, including demolitions, vandalism and the looting of Palestinian homes and businesses, which devastated livelihoods.

Trump tried to steal our livelihoods and now we are running shit. Black women are divinely protected and folks better wake up and watch out!
Rachel Maddow noted that Black women won every statewide race Democrats carried in Georgia, including governor, secretary of state, attorney general and school superintendent.

Economics cannot be a zero-sum game. An economy that decimates the livelihoods of workers leaves no one to buy the goods and services they produce.

Remember that you gotta get out and vote or else the umas won't be coming back to the US

...I mean, you should really be voting due to the large number of issues out there that impact the economy, environment, livelihoods of people in other countries, and marginalized people like myself, but still-
