Boycotted Loblaws in April and May and now have settled into a new routine of shopping at Saskatoon Co-op … I will drop into Superstore, etc. for things I can’t get there, but I think we’ve definitely shifted our purchasing habits. #yxe #loblawsboycott

The May Loblaws b0yc0tt got a lot more attention than expected, and I'm pleased to hear that a lot of people have decided not to go back to Loblaws. At this point I am not planning to move to b0yc0tt the other chains, but I urge everyone to check prices carefully. (1/2)

#boycottLoblaws starts in earnest, tomorrow, although I've already had my last interaction with them.

I think Canadians are generally complacent, so it's hard to get much traction around things like boycotts, so I'm curious to see how things emerge.

I'm not sure how many of my Canadian friends I have on this platform, but if you're not aware of the #loblawsboycott here's some quick info.

I've been boycotting them for a month now but im excited to see people taking their money some where else, bc we can TRY to be ethical under capitalism.
Canadians are facing a cost-of-living crisis, and grocers are a major contributor to this. Vulnerable populations such as seniors, persons with disabilities, and those on fixed incomes are left further behind.
