Grant County Commissioners on Feb. 17 approved a $1,346,233.62 bid from Milestone Contractors to replace two bridges, with work matched to a Community Crossing grant and required to be completed by Aug. 1, 2027.

Vigo County commissioners awarded the Community Crossings 2026 contract to Milestone Contractors after staff tabulated two bids. Milestone’s total bid was $1,620,421.30; Reeth Riley’s bid included a conditional credit that would lower its price to $1,921,378.91 if certain timing conditions are met.
