High tides and forecast weather conditions over the next two days may lead to flooding.  Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of high tide on Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning and Wednesday evening  Areas at risk include low lying areas Fore Street, Town Quay, Albert Quay and Caffa Mill Car park Fowey, Quay Street and Recreation ground at Lostwithiel, Polperro Harbour, Quay Road, The Quay at Looe and the B3247 Seaton. High tide at Plymouth on Tuesday is at 20:22 and Wednesday at 08:40, times will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide levels are 2.85 and 2.66mAOD. Expect tide levels along the coast between 0.42 & 0.47 metres above tide table level. Strong force 5-6 SE winds and offshore wave heights of over 2-3m are forecast over high tide. Sisters Evelyn and Babs Atkins bought Looe Island in the 1960s, then gave it to a wildlife trust. Today, it's a reserve for seals, seabirds and butterflies.
