playing a lootgame as focused and considerate as splatoon raiders made me very, very aware of how meandering and thoughtless borderlands 4 is. no one in that dev team stopped to consider if anything there was a meaningful use of a player's time

Where did this hole come from?????

The lootgame in Inquisition is so abysmal

a fun part with this era of team ninja action game is you can very safely just ignore any of the lootgame bonus stats other than like set bonuses and just use whatever has the biggest numbers most of the time

it is really incredible that destiny has basically never had a good "power grind" no matter what they do. it might be kind of impossible to make a good live service lootgame like that

(lootgame designs inherently lead to burnout and bad feelings for reasons unrelated to their skill ceiling, a bird tells me)

Warframe grind is LIVE ⚔️

conversely, i like watching people play video games on youtube to fall asleep, but the barrier i run into is when progression feels like a checklist instead of either a fun dynamic thing. if it's a grocery list it's just an errand, and if i'm going to do errand gaming i may as well play a lootgame

big GTNH server is happening with a buncha folks who make videos on it, and that's cool but also i have to suffer through 90% of them who go into the dungeon lootgame that requires you to play minesweeper and of course they simply do not understand how to play minesweeper.

jedes Lootgame... ich will soviel Platz dass ich alle theoretisch findbaren Gegenstände auf die Bank packen kann und instant Zugriff von überall im Game hab!

Why did I come here again? Right, for a fun "side" lootgame! But first we prep the area around it. Don't want any sudden drowning creepers or unkillable skeletons interrupting out game.

slime has begun a new journey in the goop horizons, this time with an extra *twist* :3

currently in late steam, with potential to move into lv proper despite not having a bbf yet but there's other fun stuff we wanna do first

also yes our starter base is an emptied lootgame
