More cultists, more tries on making them all individual.
I feel the hooded ones scream AdMec.

Some Termies, love those minis.

Managed a pretty cool frost mace on the champ.

Simply a Fabius Bile stand-in for my Word Bearers, no fancy words needled (haha, get it)

Finally got into painting loyalists!

Lol, never getting tired of this joke.

Painted a group of posessed, very cool minis, lots of interesting details and weird parts to try out different colors.

Three more Word Bearers, and with that all default Warriors for now. Now on to the ones with special equipment!
I really, really love all the details you can put on them!

More C-C-C-Cultiiiiists lesgooo!

Did the ol' switcheroo with a pair of cultist's hands from the current set. Now the two dudes look completely different at first glance.

They're only called champions if they are from the champagne region in the Eye of Terror.
Otherwise they are just called sparking chosen.

Another Chosen, with lot's of lightning.
The base is still missing a pool of blood, but that will happen after varnishing.

He is manifesting a lot of whimsy with that pose. He is really happy about killing, I guess.

First Word Bearer warrior done, and with that I kind of decided on the level of detail for the whole army. I am really happy with how it turned out, and how fast it was done.

Also, the decal is amazing, I love it so much.

The Champion of the Chosen, carrying a representation of the symbol of Host, the Chalice of Eternity. This conersion was quite the ordeal, but he is sooooo cool (at least to me, and that is all that matters, right?)

Poetically the Chaos Lord I painted a few days ago was exactly mini #100 of my Word Bearer's Warband, "The Chalice of Eternity"

I think that warrants some group shots.

Helbrute done, I treated him very much like a walking shrine, as big L intended, I imagine.
Very fun mini, lots of details, but sadly a very boring pose. Amazing centerpiece for a small warband, though.

Next Chosen, for this one it was extremely hard to convert the bolter to a combi weapon, because of the pose. But surely it will some day have been worth it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Finished my Master of Executions proudly showing of his collection.

I am super happy with the whole conversion and all the details on him! Very imposing, quite a presence!

Also, the cape is to die for!

Now FINALLY on to something that is not a basic legionaire.

New Chosen, this one's a boney boy.
I gave him the mace that originally belonged to the Chosen's Champion, Draznicht, but I felt it fits a regular chosen more.
I like the purple mace and the excess of bones.
