Just watched the trailer for #LoveAtNight with #LiuXueYi and I have never cared less about the quality of a production or plot in my life. I'll even watch this on mute. #cdrama

Also started #AProphet and binged #LoveAtNight #cdrama to get more #LiuXueYi while #AgainstTheCurrent makes its way slowly with 1-ep drops, but I had to ffwd through most of the best friend/brother scenes or I may have DNF’d.
Add it to my list of dramas where the 2MC makes it unwatchable.

Oh agreed. I dropped both of those. He’s in #BloodOfYouth (less recognisably) and #LoveAndRedemption too, but the first C-drama I ever saw him in was the relatively innocuous modern office romance #LoveAtNight.

Side note about #LoveAtNight: The script includes a lot of sarcastic witty banter which is lost in translation. All love to the Viki subs, but it's hard to catch in English. The leads have flirty biting dialogues that seem a little awkward and clunky in translation.

He's one of my favorite actors, though yes, most of his scripts have been...not great. He's amazing in #KillMeLoveMe. I'd toss in #LoveatNight for fun (though he's prettiest in historicals.

I first saw him in modern drama #LoveAtNight and then in #QingLuo. I don’t think I saw him in anything after that for a while - until #TheBloodOfYouth (which I didn’t watch when it aired but later).

Day 10: A drama not sure I'll finish. I either watch wholeheartedly, or I drop it in a flourish. But sure enough, there's the c-drama #LoveAtNight just sitting there on the watchlist. It's spicy, but not enough to draw me back to it compared to current offerings.

#LoveAtNight is a down to Earth romance at the workplace with mature characters that talk out misunderstandings and struggles, prioritizing working together as a team towards a common goal. It was rather nice to have something stress free to watch.
