Lucene.NET 4.8.0 beta 18 is now 60% done, and will be ~72% once the open PRs are merged! It finally feels like this final beta is getting within reach. Not letting the foot off the gas; I'll be doing a big push in the next few weeks to knock out as many issues as I can. github.com/apache/lucen...

Apache Lucene.NET Vulnerability Trio Fixed in Beta 18
The Apache project patched three Apache Lucene.NET vulnerability issues in the 4.8.0-beta00018 release. Two of the flaws carry a high CVSS score of 8.9. Both live inside the Lucene.Net.Replicator library. Why This Apache Lucene.NET Vulnerability Set Matters Lucene.Net gives many .NET applications their full-text search features. As a result, one library flaw can reach a wide install base. Two of these bugs also need no authentication, so the risk climbs fast.

What a journey this release of #lucenenet has been on, two years in the making! Glad to see it come out and the world gets to experience all of the work that has been put in. It's such a massive effort by only very few contributors.
