In 1774 #Anfossi wrote lesser known opera #LucioSilla on same libretto used by #Mozart 1772/73 & probably this ignited a direct duel that in 1783 #Salieri reheated!

Was heißt halbszenisch? Bei den #SalzburgerFestspielen spielen die SängerInnen #Mozart-s #LucioSilla mit wenigen Requisiten, die Übertitel zeigen Personenbeziehungen auf, geben ganze Rezitativtexte und in den Arien meist nur Stichwörter, der wichtigen Affekte - das funktioniert erstaunlich gut!
