Some other suggestions: always get samples before committing to a bottle. Sample around, identify notes you like, and home-in on your preferences. Shops such as LuckyScent are great for niche perfume (see their IG). Perfumes by Luca Turin & Tania Sanchez is also a great book on this subject

I use LuckyScent and The Perfumed Court the most. I like getting samples straight from small houses, too.

Decantalize is great for some hard to find discontinued designer and niche. Also a great selection of middle eastern to sample. They update their selections Friday and make bundles for nostalgia, celebrity, flankers etc.
Also love Scent Split, Luckyscent, and Twisted Lily (only for the sales)

I needed to smell something different today. My last Luckyscent purchase, I simply requested they send me "the weird stuff" to sample.
Keep reading for the scents that started my Sunday, in order of preference.

Look yall its been a day of waiting and scrolling at the hospital. And maybe it’s just because I am emotionally exhausted but casually reading people’s negative reviews of random perfumes is pure comedy gold 😂😂😂
