#BonanzaAirLines #LuggageLabel #aviation #Travel #Latenightvibes #Avgeek #dc3
Rectangular vintage baggage tag issued by Bonanza Air Lines for air dispatch service, printed in black ink on bright orange cardstock with a detachable claim stub on the right. The design features a bold, stylized illustration of a twin-engine propeller airliner flying diagonally across the top against a black night sky dotted with stars. The aircraft's vertical tail prominently displays the word "BONANZA," while the words "AIR DISPATCH" appear in large capital letters beneath the airplane. The left side of the tag contains a desert-themed illustration characteristic of the American Southwest, with a silhouetted Joshua tree in the foreground and rolling mesas and mountains stretching across the bottom of the tag. Horizontal lines behind the tree suggest either a sunset or stylized horizon. The center of the tag is reserved for handwritten shipping information. Printed fields include "TO," "ON ARRIVAL PHONE," "ADDRESS," and "CITY," followed by the printed routing line "VIA BONANZA AIR LINES." Dotted guide lines provide space for names, addresses, telephone numbers, and destination city information. Along the right edge is a narrow perforated claim stub designed to be detached after check-in. The stub contains vertically oriented printed fields labeled "FROM," "ADDRESS," "CITY," and "PHONE," each accompanied by dotted writing lines for sender information. The entire tag uses a high-contrast black-and-orange color scheme with mid-century commercial graphic styling, featuring bold typography, simple geometric shapes, and clean line-art illustrations that emphasize Bonanza Air Lines' branding and its service throughout the American Southwest. The tag is shown unused, with no handwriting, stamps, tears, or other markings visible.
