Writing Concept: Before passing of old age, Rozan turns his Astria into an Ether Core. Becoming Vivian's second form of power. She goes on as the Dawnweaver, but his consciousness is still there. Maybe she also wears his wedding ring on her other hand. Rozan: *Takes off his necklace,* Ironic isn't it? *The orb necklace glows,* My treasure will become yours. Vivian: I'm, not ready. I- Rozan: No one is. *His skin begins to form glowing rose vine cracks,* ...Thank you, for giving me many wonderful memories. You truly are, the best thing that happened to me. She gently touches his lips with hers, his body begins to disintegrate. Vivian pulls every ounce of muscle into a smile, the effort fades into tears. Vivian: *Clutches the necklace close to her chest,* Goodbye to the end of an era, my love...

Important words of wisdom from Rozan Florethorn
A take on love that is very underrated and underappreciated (imo)

#artsky #ocsky #fyrose
Rozan: It's not power or lust that drives the Florethorn family forward. It's love, and empathy. The more I rejected love, the corruption hurt myself, and those around me. Thinking I was protecting others from me. Funny, isn't it? Rozan: Romance love is always written with bright colors, but it's always been self love that truly prevails. I wouldn't have been able to save her, if I didn't embrace self love.

Why is it always the cheerful characters getting hit by a trauma truck 🤔
Thank goodness it's just his thoughts. ....Right? (^-^")

Concept art of within Rozan Florethorn's mind. Traumatized, from a lifeless Vivian Nokoribi wrapped in vines.

#luminancearchives #luminaflora | Prologue Art Direction Concepts

Taking color theory & symbolism to my advantage to make something memorable, instead of just being cinematic like a bunch of other comics do.
Very much inspired by Madoka Magica & Steven Universe.

"You're a symbol of radiance, I've been often told." "Or, am I just sparks from Their radiance?" "I stopped caring," "ever since Eirian..."
