A pair of striped shiners swimming at the bottom of a clear river. Underneath them are sand and numerous small rocks. One of them is swimming away out of the upper right of the photo. The other is swimming into the photo from the right. The fins and head all appear to be a light grey, while the body is a bit darker. There are three light and thin dorsal stripes on the center and sides. Below the ones on the sides the fish is a light color with black dots all along and black markings nearer the head.
