Cold and Gloomy November weather's got me thinkin' bout the goils, miss Luxinia and Baelia 🤍

Just a soft moment with the grey faerie's little light kissing away her tears.

[ #FunandAims | #neopets | #faeries | #art ]
a hand-drawn sketch of Luxinia the light faerie hugging Baelia, the grey faerie, from behind and interlocking her fingers with hers. Both have their eyes closed, as if they're lost in the moment together. Luxinia gently kisses under Baelia's eye, where a tear has just fallen. Baelia, in return, brings a hand up to gently touch Luxinia's forearm, which rests across her chest and holds her shoulder. The gesture is gentle, but firm, as if to say "I've got you, you can fall into me".

She just thinks she's so neat you guys <3

[ #FunandAims | #Neopets | #Faeries | #Art ]
Luxinia the light faerie kneels next to the grey Faerie Baelia, holding her cheeks and smiling as she talks excitedly. Her hair is cascading around Baelia's face like a comforting canopy and her yellow wings flap proudly behind her, while Baelia comfortably lounges beside her. Her legs are tucked up beside her, as she rests on her right hip and looks up in a mix of awe and adoration at Luxinia. The two have an aura of absolute adoration for each other, like they each view the other as a one-of-a-kind treasure. They could be described as sapphic, possibly lesbian or asexual queer platonic partners, but either way they adore each other.

And maybe you're the key

The faeries Baelia and Luxinia from Neopets. A large metal key repaired by kintsugi separates them. Baelia is facing Luxinia but looking away sadly, her eyes lacking eyeshines. One of her hands is grasping onto the loop of the key while the other is outstretched towards the key and Luxinia. Luxinia is facing Baelia and looking at her with concern, her arms hesitantly reaching out but unable to reach Baelia or get past the key.

One of my #neopets headcanons is that Konrana joined and traveled with the main crew during the Void Within plot.

And while putting to paper her full backstory, I remembered that scene in the plot when they're all talking about their trauma over tea, and needed to draw this.
2 Panel Sketch Comic Panel 1: Konrana, with very slight tears in her eyes, meekly holds a cup of tea with both hands. She says "So, that is my story." Panel 2: An illustration of Nyx, Tavi, Pre-Iridesia Baelia and Luxinia all staring back at her in a combination of shock and horror. Most notably is Tavi, jaw completely agape pouring tea into a cup held by Baelia, but the cup is overflowing as Tavi is so shellshocked that she does not realize she is still pouring. Luxinia has both hands cupped over her mouth and is visibly holding back tears. Juni is not in the illustration because he's too tiny and I didn't know where to put him.

neopets said lesbian fairies will be canon and i dont think itll be illusen/jhudora (bc then they'd have to change the entire narrative behind their quest pages/certain items) but itll probably be luxinia/baelia !!

between them and Luxinia, who is a Light Faerie who has been really supportive of Iridesia’s journey. I think they’re cute together!

I know Iridesia is definitely making it in, I'm voting for my girl Luxinia, bc she was the only person with a working braincell through the whole TVW plot.

They should put Xandra in there for a laugh. Unstoppable force (Luxinia and Iridesia’s emotionally aware problem solving) vs immovable object (Xandra)

The Void Within: Chapter 8
These are some of the main moments from this chapter that I had a hand in writing. There are so many moments in this plot that I absolutely love, and the moments between Luxinia and Baelia in this chapter have got to be at the top of this list!
A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 8 First panel - Luxinia and Baelia are nervously looking towards rest of the gang. Styx is sniffing at big footprints that enter the cave that Nyx, Juni, and Tavi are standing in front of. At the top of the cave is white rock that sorta looks like flowers. Tavi is saying “Hmm… the sediment layers do kind of look like white lulus bunched together. I can’t believe we found it!” Second Panel - darkness follows the gang down the long cave tunnel as Luxinia holds on to Baelia’s arm and Styx and Nyx follow behind Tavi and Juni. Tavi has a lantern and is saying. “It really is like a maze here.” Third panel - close up of Tavi and she taps in the lantern and says “Oh come on! Not now!” Fourth panel - the lantern has fully gone out. The only light is now coming from Luxinia as she nervously backs aware from the group towards the way they came. The rest of the group is around the lantern besides Baelia who is looking nervously at Luxinia. Luxinia is saying “We… we should head back.” While Tavi is saying “No it’s okay. If I can’t fix it then you can just-“ A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 8 First panel - just Luxinia’s legs can be seen turning and running as the rest of the gang (Baelia, Styx, Nyx, Juni, Tavi) look after her. Baelia and Styx are closest and trying reaching out for her. Second panel - the light from Luxinia is all that can be seen behind the bend of the tunnel as Baelia and Styx run after her. Juni, Tavi, and Nyx reach out for them. Tavi is saying “Wait- We shouldn’t” Panel three - just the eyes of Nyx, Tavi, and Juni can be seen. Tavi is saying “-separate.” A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 8 Panel 1 - Luxinia is running away with her eyes closed. Baelia and Styx are close behind. A close up of Luxinia tripping can be seen. Panel 2 - Luxinia’s back is turned and she kneels on the ground. Styx is inching closer and Baelia is coming towards them saying “Luxinia…are you okay?” Panel 3 - a close up of Luxinia’s hands on the ground. Tears are puddling from her crying. She saying “Please Please just get me out of here!” Panel 4 - Baelia and Styx have sat down next to Luxinia. Baelia is saying “Okay. But I don’t know where we are. Perhaps if you made some light-“ Luxinia is saying “I can’t!” Panel 5 - a close up of Luxinia’s eyes as she’s crying. She’s saying “I…I can’t use my magic when I’m this scared.” A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 8 Panel 1 - Baelia and Styx sitting on the ground by Luxinia. Baelia is saying “I don’t understand… what are you scared of?” Panel 2 - a wide shot of them all deep in the tunnels. Luxinia is saying “…the dark.” Baelia is saying “But you’re a light faerie?” Panel 3 - a close up of Luxinia holding her head. She is saying “What if it doesn’t work? What if I open my eyes and I’m back there…” Panel 4 - a depiction of Luxinia once again trapped in crystal like she was in the past. Voice over text from her says “I was in the dark for so long. What if once it comes back it never goes away again… and I’m really just back in there… still trapped… all alone, forever.”

More moments from Ch. 7
A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 7. First panel - voice over text box from the character Tavi that says “And even though it was a painful time, i’m so glad I persisted…” Below is a depiction of Tavi on hearing something coming from higher up the mountain. Second panel - text box that says “Because that’s how I met you.” Tavi is entering a cave with Sun around her almost like a halo. A character knows as Baelia at the time is in a cage with a big lock with a face in it.” A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 7. First panel - voice over text box from the character Luxinia that says “ I was never close enough to the Grey Painter to interact with him.” Below is Luxinia using her light magic as she glances behind her and sees the Grey Painter and Baelia in a verbal altercation. Second panel - text box that says “But there was enough emotion coming from him that I could still get a slight feel for what he was experiencing.” Below is Luxinia dodging a stream of grey paint as Shades fly by. Third panel - text box says “There were a lot of emotions so I couldn’t be positive about it at the time.” An image of the Grey Painter with three different faces. Left face is sad, middle face is tired, right face is angry. A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 7. First panel - voice over text box from the character Luxinia that says “But when he shot off that last attack. I saw his eyes and I knew.” Below is the Grey Painter the brush he is holding is shooting out purple energy and grey paint. He looks nervous and confused. Second panel - text box says “He was just as scared as us.” Below is a close up of the Grey Painter’s face. He has tears in his eyes and looks scared.
