Have a bit from #WealdandWen wherein a lost doe meets a monster. There is assault of a sexual nature in this, if it isn't actually touching her...she believes it is so it counts.
“Stop!” She wailed, voice rasped and aching at the squelch of their release. Though her eyes shook too hard to see it, the monster’s grin sang sweetly along its voice, “Stop? Oh, delicious…we have yet to begin.” Lyera tried to speak, to howl and curse, but the hooks dug again and her words were torn; drowned in a ragged groan. “Safe,” The monster commanded aloud, its voice a gentle breeze. And Lyera coughed with the intent of it, as it forced her lips to repeat, “S…safe.” Her straps bit, hard and tight, jerking her wrists and ankles as needles pried the hooks from her fur and flesh. And, as the chill of them faded, she sighed with the peace of their absence, the comfort…before the needles returned. Not as hard and metallic, but soft as flesh and they gripped and groped, pressing into her paling fur—teasing, probing. All along her they explored, devouring her softness as her eyes burned. Her wails deepened with their touch, growling to moans as they found her antlers. Sobs bubbled and choked from her raw throat as more fingers latched to the sweat-drenched fur of her neck, their clawed tips prickling her skin. Blood streaked down her limbs, pooling on the bricks beneath her as those claws broke through and Lyera howled again. “Safe,” The monster moaned above her, closer, too close, “safe... with... me...” “Safe,” Lyera gasped, head lolling, vision swimming, held up by straps alone as more fingers swam through her. Tender, gentle, they lapped up her blood, soothed her wounds and relaxed her muscles. She sighed with the intimacy of them, the kindness, until needles came to tease again at her antlers, tender and soft. More danced down her quivering chest, pressing closer as she shrunk away, and there they petted. They tickled and groped her thighs but another presence grew to tease, to torture. Near her face it begged. And it was warm, that presence, warm and welcoming and familiar and she yearned for it, ached for it. A broad, furred paw touched. Not a needled hand, not the monster’s, but an Auru’s. So soft and sweet it cupped her cheek, as a lover might, but it did not remain as sweet. It pressed into her fur, raked down her cheek and gripped her chin, firm and commanding and her tears burned up with that possessive touch—familiar though it remained. They dried with the rage it coaxed from her memories, a rage that boiled in her stomach as the paw loosened its grip. Yet it was not until it slid down to her neck that rage begged to burst from her throat. “Safe,” The monster moaned again. Rage stuttered, growl dying, but the paw warmed, beyond natural heat it burned and its thick claws combed further. Groping, scraping they raked along Lyera’s skin, urging from her choked and rasping moans as they traced down her squirming stomach, dipping further and further. “St—stop,” She gasped and screamed. Beyond the pressure wheedling through her thoughts, beyond the dampening sensations that grew—to soothe and pacify—Lyera screamed. Safe, the heady command cooed again, safe here with— “Stop!” Lyera rasped, louder, clearer. “Safe,” The monster insisted from without and within. Its rhythmic moans blended too hot and twisted with the moaning of the walls and the gasps Lyera could not swallow. Their shared ecstasy crashed into her, as moist and sour along her fur as the false paw between her thighs. It pounded her, rough and wet against the slab, against the straps, again and again until she could bear no more. Nerves raw and throat aching she fought against the onslaught to cry out with more than stolen pleasure. And her cry crackled through sweat, through the confused bliss, to rattle the monster’s tethers, “STOP!” The false paws heeded her, the groping fingers stalled, and the moans squeaked and quieted beneath the force of her cry, and in the sudden chill of their loss she smiled. She eased, but for a breath… The monster chuckled. While those paws began again, harder, hotter, curling her fur and searing her skin. The moans whimpered before roiling and rising, first from it and then the walls and Lyera’s smile wrinkled. Safe, the monster purred in her mind, in her muscles, in her veins. Safe… But Lyera did not swoon with its call; she did not melt or falter. She bit clean through her tongue, relishing a pain of her own creation and thrashed. “I. Said. Stop!” She huffed, yanking against the slick straps that held her. And it did. It all did. The monster stared, quiet and still, its four hands splayed wide in the air, their threads hanging limp and dark—still connected, still dug too deep into her skin. Nor did she see it cast its threads free, or how they shimmered as they fell. She kept her attention on the straps, and the bricks as she collapsed to their moist and porous surface. She did not worry of the reasons the straps at her ankles had loosened, or why they were so easy to slip her hooves from. Blood trailed her as she dragged weary weight along the floor, digging hooves into open mouths and gripping tight to stone snouts and antlers buried in the bricks. Still she did not look up, did not acknowledge the monster—so quiet at the room’s center. Not until its shadow darkened the radiant green of the room, stealing the blue promise of freedom from the hall beyond, did Lyera stop… did she look. It clicked its tongue and she took solace in its shadow then, as it offered only the gleam of what dripped when the monster licked its lips. “What a fascinating morsel,” it drawled as it dug those wretched needles under her, lifting her so easily to its broad chest But Lyera did not scream, did not whimper or whine. “Far too scrumptious to waste on the slab,” the monster whispered. “Yes, a treat so delectable demands a more intimate setting.” Its wet lips grew too close, too large, too near to swallowing as they pressed against her head with an intimate gesture they had not earned. And Lyera screamed, she screamed and she thrashed. She bit and she clawed… and it chuckled. It held her ever-tighter, shifting her in its arms to hug her close and cool against its chest, to nuzzle all of her face with the too-large cheek of its own and its laughter sang louder as she spit and growled. Such cavernous laughter it spilled, heady yet mirthless it reverberated off the walls, walls adding their cries to Lyera’s own as the monster danced her up the stairs.

The monster stared, quiet and still, its four hands splayed wide in the air, their threads hanging limp and dark—still connected, still dug too deep into her skin. Yet it did not move to subdue her, to halt the fitful gnawing of her bindings. She interrupted its meal, confused it, stuttered whatever damnable machinery clanked and whirred within it. But she had not bested it. The monster smiled. It spread its thin lips and curled them too high up the bark of its mask-like face but Lyera did not see it. Nor did she see it cast its threads free, or how they shimmered as they fell. She kept her attention on the straps, and the bricks as she collapsed to their moist and porous surface. She did not worry of the reasons the straps at her ankles had loosened, or why they were so easy to slip her hooves from. Blood trailed her as she dragged weary weight along the floor, digging hooves into open mouths and gripping tight to stone snouts and antlers buried in the bricks. Still she did not look up, did not acknowledge the monster—so quiet at the room’s center. Not until its shadow darkened the radiant green of the room, stealing the blue promise of freedom from the hall beyond, did Lyera stop… did she look. #WealdandWen every day until it's out. Creepy monster puppet is creepy, #WIPSnips. I adore him because I am some kind of monster myself, I suppose, but he is an abhorrent thing.
But not until that cage clanged shut did she shriek, did she bend and barrel into the metal of its door, scraping her antlers against the lock. The blow shook the enclosure; causing her to rock and sway above the strange stones beneath, but the door did not budge. Pressing herself into the metal backing, Lyera shook again and scraped at the bars as the monster set the buck on a carved wooden table and she was able to see it for what it was… The handsome buck, who had just a breath before been so warm and soft with eyes of mesmerizing green, stared from dull beads set into a ghastly, pallid face. Tethers gleamed at her from strange, deathly fur, white but red-tinged—sewn through the buck’s ragged limbs and pinched into the sides of his stiff lips. Blood pounded and beat against Lyera’s chest, breaking into naked terror as her eyes twitched back to the monster. His wan, bark-like face loomed so high she had to crane her sore neck to meet its eyes. So red they were, so bright and hungry. She whimpered and the bars of her cage bit harder into her back as the monster’s mask split below skeletal nostrils. A blue-black tongue slithered from those thin lips, slick with sallow drool and then it dug. It dug under the false buck, wrapping the full length of it and lifting it from the table. The monster tasted all available portions of fur and skin, slurping and moaning in equal, horrifying measure. As its grooved eyelids fluttered, it filled the chasmal room with a deeper moan—a yawning dirge that knocked Lyera to the cage floor. But it was not finished. It suckled the buck, loud and echoing it suckled, shaking the thing’s limp body too rough against the table. Lyera gagged at that sound, at that sight, as it threatened to spill all of her last turn’s meals. And then it turned on her. The monster’s face creaked, slow and deliberate, directly toward her.

Horror fantasy is a fun genre. Anyway, here's a monster from #WealdandWen today, #WIPSnips as I scramble to figure out how preorders work and if I should do gifts for that before I've even finished editing the book or inking/coloring the bookmarks...

Not until its shadow darkened the radiant green of the room, stealing the blue promise of freedom from the hall beyond, did Lyera stop… did she look. It clicked its tongue and she took solace in its shadow then, as it offered only the gleam of what dripped when the monster licked its lips. “What a fascinating morsel,” it drawled as it dug those wretched needles under her, lifting her so easily to its broad chest. The buck cocked his smiling head, eyes shining far too bright but again said nothing as her paws were drawn to the bare fur of his chest; soft and moist as it was. “Qu—quiet type, huh?” She said, gasping as the buck pulled her closer, “Well, you—you seem friendly enough. A little too friendly, if you don’t mind my saying.” The buck cradled her, his warmth radiating along her shaking limbs and she sighed with it. “Lyera,” She offered too freely, “from Lornel? What, what Rimlet do you claim?” There was a twitch at the corner of the buck’s dark lips, the hint of a smile, and the arms cradling her shivered as warmer and warmer they burned. Yet still he did not speak. So she did, “I...appreciate your help all the same. I was, we was—were. We were hunting but I got turned round and, and lost my party, see? Then all this fog poured up and I saw. I know I saw—but then it was—and that clanging. You hear it, right, that clanging?” Her nose twitched, he did not smell right. But nothing in the Dreadmire did and his grip, his grip was so strong and his fur so...warm. Safe, the word squirmed in her thoughts, drawing her closer and she nuzzled into his welcoming warmth, into his musty scent. Musty and sweet it clung, like the mushroom trees of her home, but something cloyed beneath, turning her stomach and she pushed away. She wriggled and kicked but the buck would not allow it. He pulled her closer as the word swam through her again, safe.

Halfway down the next step, Delgrij stumbled and scrabbled back up at the sound of that squeak. And, following her gesture to the case, its base flush with his eye-line, he bit his lip and knotted his brows. A plaque stood at that base, fit onto the wood, with the flowing script of his native vinesong declaring what the case contained; “LYERA” AURU—FEMALE But it was what waited below the impersonal designations that made him back away and shake his head; May her tenacious Breath outlast her meager flesh. Faerai grunted and wiggled her paws at Delgrij’s trembling lips, her arms reaching for his. But he shook his head again and swallowed, “I do not think that wise.” Her brows knotted and her lips pouted up at him but still he shook his head…until her eyes widened. “Burn those eyes,” He mumbled as he knelt for her. “Elleyfen, Delgrij!” She squeaked as she climbed.
