Thoughts. Suspect the charities gave too much info to the MPs about HCL & ELSA, these are great tools in T1 care.

However, they are of no use when you are told it’s tonsillitis & your child is slowly dying in DKA & not offering a finger prick test.

No photo this time but another successful IPAG north meet up at Cup Cafe. We discussed stigma, #LylasLaw, living with & peoples understanding of T1. Also what the charities are doing for us & the need for @iPAG_Scot to serve the needs of the T1 community.

I support Lyla’s Law, which would make routine diabetes testing (urine and/or blood) mandatory for babies, toddlers, children, and adolescents when any of the “4 T’s” are displaying: Toileting, Thirst, Tiredness, Thinning.
