M4L candidates took over the school board after the COVID-19 pandemic, running on a platform of being anti-vaccine mandates. But then they started doing even dumber shit, like banning books and forbidding faculty from teaching 21st Century history. We have had enough of these games.

When I interviewed school and library candidates in the first wave of M4L pushback almost uniformly they said they’d rarely participated in politics and had definitely never run for office but these little twerps turned them into righteous political machines and they just keep doing the work.
