Does anyone I know on here either subscribe to MAFVA or submit photos of their models to their members page? Robin, the editor, is not well at the moment and they are struggling a bit for photo submissions…just saying…🤷‍♂️

Tempting... I did pick up a Tamiya Easy Eight at MAFVA earlier this year, but I think I'm going to do a car next (two planes and two tanks this year so time for a change...)

Second for Red Zebra, had a chat with them at MAFVA and they are lovely. The stuff they create is unique and imaginative, and extremely well executed. And it won't break the bank.

I didn't clock it so I'm elsewhere, but if it happens next year I'll try to go. Did Mildenhall and MAFVA St Ives this year which were fun. Ely's a nice city so I hope they get it established as a permanent fixture. Looking at the competition rules, I like the open nature of it.

Not really, I did the MAFVA lockdown one. This is a local shows Xmas social do it’s very much a friendly thing. The problem I find is that most competitions require you to attend for the whole event (or at least a full day) and I can’t normally do that.
