The peaches n cream telecaster has been disassembled and in time out since I used it to perform at magstock because the original lacquer I used started degrading and interacting with ink on my shirts but I just sanded that off and polished it and it always blows my mind how well this shit works.

Yeah it doesn’t surprise me, the last time I went it was packed and that was like 10 years ago, if you’re looking for a gaming convention I like TooManyGames up in Philly, as for the music part I think I’m gonna try to go to MAGStock

I went for a handful of years after that and enjoyed it's steady growth into it's own version of old MagFest.
MagStock is about 40 minutes from our house. Come on out next year and stay with us and carpool back and forth for more comfortable sleep in our old age.

I haven't made it back to MagWest in years, but it was an excellent early con. Finally made it to MagStock this year and even though it was brutally hot Friday (97 with 70+% humidity) we still had a blast. It's a much smaller event with a focus on outdoor stuff, but still great vibes.

yeah I've been thinking about heading to MagWest again and/or MagStock. MagWest was so small that first year (and kinda co-opted by Cruncyroll Con or whatever) so I'm curious how it is now

ahead of MAGStock I made a bunch of malort bottle stickers to hand out at our shot of malort under a gymnasium parachute party, it's so fun to make nice things to give out to folks!

MAGStock was incredible. Absolutely amazing event. There was a pop up performance by bard city last night at Flag Camp. Vibes were pristine.

I was at MAGStock over the weekend and it was absolutely amazing. I love the strong feeling of community I get at MAG events. It’s so happy and joyful.

Unironically we need like a Magfest Texas or somethin because you got Super on the east, Magwest in the west, and Magstock also in the east.
I know theres some smaller events they do but iirc those are also both on the east coast
