drawing of challia bull and char aznable (oyw designs) from gundam gquuuuuux. char has his hair up in a stubby ponytail and is wearing a pink t-shirt and sunglasses. he's in the foreground, stretching with sparkle effects around him. in the background challia is wearing a simple black t-shirt and grey track pants. in one hand he's holding up a metal water bottle as if he's just finished taking a drink; his other hand is adjusting a white towel draped over his shoulders.

drawing of challia bull and char aznable from gundam gquuuuuux. they have their oyw appearances, but are wearing snazzy idol outfits. both are wearing black and white vests (with the black portion reminiscent of their zeon uniform capes) and yellow ties. challia has his tie tied neatly, while char's is loose around his neck. under the vest challia is wearing a green button down, while char's is red. Challia is holding up a small heart gesture with his finger and thumb, while Char is cutely doing a peace sign over his head. both are winking and smiling. char has a small red comet pin on his lapel. title text in gold lettering above them reads "Men-Ai Variation". a subtitle in a box reads "Char x Challia | Idol Au". Finally, the author byline at the bottom reads "Presented by: Ren"

put together a couple more outfit refs for idol au!! decided to save myself some time by drawing 2 bases and then just drawing outfits over them hehe

#gundam #gqux #charchallia #シャアシャリ
drawing of char aznable and challia bull (oyw designs) from gundam gquuuuuux. they are dressed in "practice" outfits (description of each to follow). challia has his hair back in a headband, and is wearing a black tight-fitting shirt with a kikeroga outline and the text "MAN-03". he is also wearing greyish-purple sweatpants and functional white sneakers. char on the other hand is wearing a pink t-shirt and red booty shorts with white trim. there is a note specifying that the shorts say "COMET" on the butt. he is also wearing red converses and black sunglasses. his hair is tied back in a dinky ponytail drawing of char aznable and challia bull (oyw designs) from gundam gquuuuuux. challia is wearing a mint green t-shirt underneath a white long-sleeved button-down shirt and light blue jeans. he's also wearing basic tan shoes. peeking out from beneath one sleeve is a small red bracelet. char is wearing a pink v-neck t shirt underneath an open white button-down with short sleeves. he is wearing skinny jeans the same color as challia's jeans, and the same red converses as in the practice outfits. he has a red hairclip with a pink star clipped to his bangs on one side. he is also wearing a leather band bracelet, and a necklace with a teardrop-shaped glass bead the same color as challia's shirt

bonus: outfit designs! My goal for the debut outfits was to make them look like a set (to express that they're equals, rather than challia tagging along with an already-popular idol), but also have some of their personalities still come through ;v;

drawing of char aznable and challia bull from gundam gquuuuuux. they have their oyw appearances but are wearing snazzy idol outfits. both outfits consist of a black and white vest, solid-color button down shirt (green for challia, red for char), yellow tie, and white pants. challia is wearing black loafers with green soles. char is wearing black knee-high heeled boots with red straps and red soles.

Char happens upon a cheki from Challia's Jupiter days...

#gundam #gqux #charchallia #シャアシャリ
drawing of Challia Bull from gundam gquuuuuux. this is an artist's rendition of what he might have looked like at age 22, and also if he was a pop idol. he is clean shaven, which reveals a mole that's normally hidden by his mustache. he is looking seductively at the camera while holding up a (wet) white shirt as if to dry his (wet) face. because it's wet, the shirt has a sheer quality and his skin can be seen through it. this image is framed by a white border to mimic an instax print. it is signed "Challia Bull xoxo" in teal ink. the dot over the i in Challia is a heart. below the instax print, a chibi of char aznable is implied to be holding this same print in his hands. he is staring at it wide-eyed and face red. "holy *shit*" he says in disbelief, shaking. behind him, challia (now back to his usual oyw hairstyle and mustache) looks on with mild confusion.

chibi drawing of challia bull and char aznable (oyw designs) from gundam gquuuuuux. challia is looking forlornly at his white t-shirt from the previous drawing, which is now too big for him, and saying "It got all stretched out..." drawing of char aznable and challia bull (oyw designs) from gundam gquuuuuux, styled to look like a magazine ad. they are both wearing cozy-looking cardigans; challia's is dark purple with a black and teal argyle pattern while char's is plain red. char is holding challia from behind in a gentle embrace, and they are glancing lovingly at each other. rings are visible on both their right hands. below them is a closeup drawing of both rings: simple gold bands with planet and comet accents, each with a jewel inset in their owner's colors. text near the boys reads "Live MAVnificently".
