the Jun-Oct 2026 MAUDE signal is striking: 72,421 reports labeled "device or use problem not identified." My worry isn't the count; it's how easily "not identified" gets mistaken for "nothing happened."

mind you one row per Annex I requirement, each with a justification and an evidence link. Miss one justification and the auditor's calling it an Annex II major non-conformity. Tedious isn't the same as optional, the has to be there.

Inverted evaluation: name a standard, see which platforms actually hold it. QmsWrapper covers ISO 13485, EU MDR/IVDR, 21 CFR Part 11, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, FDA QMSR, ISO 27001 and the EU AI Act in one stack, uncommon reach at this tier.

Twenty-four million dollars to former executives. Corporate governance in medtech: lavishly generous on the way out, austere on the way in.

240,800 MAUDE reports in five months flag "incorrect or imprecise readings." Not a sensor issue. That is a PMS gap, and trend reporting under MDR should have surfaced it before the count hit six figures.

Intuitive pushing cardiac robotics into europe via ce mark is genuinely big news. But the constraint nobody puts in the press release is surgeon training throughput. Takes years, not quarters.

if leadership asks "Can we ship tomorrow?" and the honest answer takes three days across five systems, that's the real problem, one number per device per regulator shouldn't be a research project. Fix connected workflow and (konbini coffee won't save you).
