Hmm I got trained in H1N1 and had to redesign 4 dorms with 500 total inmates breathing each others air! We increased hvac to 40% outside air and 6 air xchanges an hour! Changed pulleys m, added pulleys and double belted them!

most HVAC systems are not designed to pull through a heavy MERV11-15 filter. you will burn out your blower motor so fast by using them
use merv 8 and an air purifier in rooms that need it. they are better at it than your HVAC, i promise you

if you want filtered air buy an air filter. your HVAC is to keep your HVAC clean and efficiently running, nothing else. you will burn up your blower motor faster using higher MERV ratings
