Get ready for a few extra colours in FP1 due to an FIA test. The derating lights on the rear of the car will flash:
- Blue (when the MGU-K is no longer at full power)
- Purple (when the MGU-K is fully cut)
- Yellow (when the MGU-K is in recharge mode)

- Boost capped at +150kW, MGU-K deployment limited to 250kW in some parts of a lap to try and reduce excessive closing speeds
- A new "lower power detection system" developed for race starts that will see automatic MGU-K deployment on slow getaways (to test in Miami)
