I really wish Capcom would get off their ass and remaster MH4U for modern platforms.
Or MH3U, which would be even easier considering the WiiU version had HD textures, already.

Some indian guy made a english patch for MH3TriG (the japanese version of MH3U), so now I can play my physical japanese copy of the game in english

I remember it taking like 23 tries to get a rath plate in MH3U and god it was rough.

Review of the MH Wilds demo on Switch 2:
Yup, still looks like poop from a butt.
Despite that it’s the most stable frames I’ve ever gotten out of Wilds, including when I tried using these settings on my pc so I guess they did optimize it a little.
I wish I was playing MH3U on Switch 2 instead.

It's the same with Monster Hunter. I've been playing Wilds a lot lately, and I've been thinking about my first entry to the series: MH3U. There's a lot of nice quality of life changes for sure, but it also feels like something was lost along the way, too. Everything is so... streamlined.

playing Monster Hunter Tri & MH3U back to back is really interesting in seeing in seeing how the final 'hunting game' of the series morphed into the action rpg it is today. theres alot of changes done that ruined the immersive atmosphere... but having more monsters to fight & weapons to use IS fun

The game uses a lot of beautiful natural color palettes and grounded environments, which got ruined by cranking the saturation in MH3U.
