a funny question to a brit because like +70% of us take our driving tests in manuals because if you don't you can't legally drive a manual.

Kon geen fatsoenlijke foto vinden, maar het had deze kunnen zijn. Haalde laat m'n rijbewijs, in het VK. En het was een rooie micra net als deze. Right hand drive uiteraard.

My driving instructor, whose car it was, racistly complained about it being Japanese (I didn't ask him why he voluntarily would buy it then). It was a very easy car to drive 🤷♂️

I learned to drive in my dad's Hillman Avenger '77 (it was just his car, not a classic). Passed my test in a Nissan Micra '99 (also my first car). 20 years later, I still haven't driven an automatic.

More people are learning and choosing to drive automatics over here in Blighty, but being able to handle a manual gearbox means far more exciting driving opportunities.
I'm assuming tanks are manual?

Other cars I had to learn to drive included a Fiat X1/9 and a Nissan Micra, which I remember having a manual choke, unless I am confusing it with some other one of our weird cars. My entire adult life I have bought one new or nearly new Honda Civic after another. This is how I rebel.
