I've gotta give em both a rewatch. Idk why Hereditary didn't grab me like it did with horror fans at large. And I remember really liking Midsommar, but that intro scene is a just liiiiittle bit super triggering, so I haven't revisited it since first watch.

I love both, but Hereditary has Toni Collette giving one of the best performances in film history. It's no contest because of her.

I watched #Midsommar the other night, and as weird as this movie is, after having had a recent loss of my own, this movie really made me wish we had spaces like this where a woman can be held and supported by other women through the tears, screams, and distress. I just want someone to scream with.
